coframer
Can somebody tell me what this works out to be? Kind of new at this. Production: Points: 52 Time: 6.45 I don't know how to compute it. Thanks
Dave Gundry
Here ya go: Hit Factor = points / time HF = 52 / 6.45 = 8.06202 Go to: http://m.cmcalc.com/ or http://www.classifiercalc.com/ Enter your HF in the correct area and see what it says... classifiercalc seems to be having an issue, but CmCalc reports it as being 79.6527576%

Chris Keen
Shot this one today, and thought it felt slow. After reading some of the prior open shooters scores I now know why ...... Open Master 60 points 5.95 seconds Should come out to just under 95%. And after watching the video it looks like I need to work on my turn and draw skills. I once read here (Flex$) that a turn and draw shouldn't take any longer than a stand and draw, as long as you snap your eyes to the target. My only defense is it was about 30~40 degrees on the indoor range today, but I still need to work on that turn and draw. I went for the points, and found my cadence pretty conservative. Maybe next time I'll go a little faster. Assuming I only drop 3-4 points, and get my time down in the lower 5's I should net the same HF or maybe better. waktasz
Shot this this weekend. My first A level score. Dropped 1 C in 7.31 seconds. Limited division. I definitely went slow and focused on points. I tried to burn down "Front Sight" at a match two weeks ago and had two mikes on the center target, which is just disgraceful. inkballedtarget
We shot this one last weekend. I felt like I shot it okay for being a lowly C. 56 pts 7.64 sec 7.3298 HF 68.77% Are any of all using the azshooters classifier calc? Its pretty cool! https://azshooters.org/ Edited November 17, 2015 by inkballedtarget

bluedevil008
All alphas in 5.95. 10.08 HF, or about 84%. Lost probably .25 on the reload, and on the first pass my transitions were a little slow. I slowed it down to half speed and could tell I wasn't beginning my transition as soon as the sight lifted.
