HSMITH
UPS showed up while I was gone this week with my new DPMS upper. A3, 18" fully fluted heavy barrel, Wylde, 4 rail hand guards and gas block. Looks really nice. Popped it on the lower I picked up this summer, also DPMS. The stock was laser etched with the DPMS logo by Mark Miller at Mach 2 Tactical, and I think it looks pretty sharp. As much support as DPMS gives us I like having their banner on my rifle!! I won a $500 certificate at the WI Section match this spring, so all I had to pay for was the upgrade charges.

Sestock
How long did it take you to get the DPMS? I have had a 18" fluted barrel on back order for almost 7 months now.

HSMITH
Retro? I don't know, but it shut her up so I am 112% fine with it....... Pig, dog, still funny to me. Sestock, it took about 4 months I think, might be 5. It was long enough that I had forgotten about it, I know that. Then I had to find the lower assembly, that took almost an hour LOL. I hate putting stuff up right where I will be able to find it easily and then having to search for it.
