Just caught an ad for the upcoming release of the movie American Gangster.

They show a 65 Fastback Mustang being blown up in the advertisement. That pisses me off.

Thats like going fishing, catching a 15# Black Bass and filleting it on the dock.. Damn, whats wrong with those people? <_<

Tarentino's Grindhouse movie, "Death Proof" had a late 60's Chrevolet, Plymouth Road Runner and a 1970 (iirc) white Dodge Challenger that got wiped out. The Chevy was involved in a spectular head on collision that was shot from overhead. I enjoyed the movie, I "get" Tarentino, but I was cringing at all of the American iron that got destroyed.

I really hope that CGI magic saved those cars.

Okay that settles it.

I'm with Merlin on this one.

We need to start a new movement.

Save the Classic Cars.

I suggest we start by buying up all the SS396 Chevy's, Road Runners, Cameros, GTO's etc. we can find.

Take them into protective custody before someone sets them on fire.

That is sinful.

If they want to make a movie let them burn a Toyota.
