SA Friday
A little longer than a 35... You shoooting limited 10 or limited? I thought 4 mags was alot for me g10 I've shot both, but a lot of Lim-10. I'm really a production shooter at heart. I just don't feel right with less than five mag pouches on my belt. I can always leave them empty when I'm shooting Limited. I also keep the mag pouches back a bit because of my production roots. If I put one up front, I'll miss it for the reload every time. dagz
norbs007: Does that kydex mag shown with your Ghost holster work well with a long slide? What's the brand? Thanks. to all: Thanks for sharing! Share more!
norbs007
norbs007: Does that kydex mag shown with your Ghost holster work well with a long slide? What's the brand? Thanks.to all: Thanks for sharing! Share more! That's a Blade-Tech with a DOH attachment. With proper practice, it's as quick as a race holster. Well, it is a race holster One of the popular ones for the G34/G35 glocks. I also use one for that G22 when shooting 3gun.
dagz
Thanks! Another question: Ghost vs. CRSpeed for Glock Which one is better and why?
MARKUSEJ
I have been using a chopped down uncle mikes kydex holster and really enjoy not having much money in it. The front has been cut down so that there is only about 1" left connecting the front and the back was trimmed to fit flush with the trigger gaurd. I also added some rivets in the mount to make it a little sturdier. I don't have over $20 bucks in it and it is definetly not holding me back. Turbo23
Thanks!Another question: Ghost vs. CRSpeed for Glock Which one is better and why? I have the CR Speed and really like it... Not love but like it Really though the only thing I dont like about it is it's lenght. If you have to get down low it hits me on the leg a little, that would be the only thing that may make me change if I could test drive a Limcat or Ramos.. What did you do to the slide? g10 Polished. I got some bad holster wear, so I polished just the side and left the top and back all black, ala Para TJ Limited. Glockster35
My CR Speed Holster with Glock 35 and CR Speed (pre-versa) magazine pouches on a safariland belt. Same set up using a kydex Blade Tech holster, straight drop for the Glock 35. I would have posted these much earlier, but my picture hosting site went down, and I figured it would come back before now! Alas, I gave up on them and opened this acocunt! Revopop
Here's what I use:Blade-Tech Injection Molded I use a Blade-Tech kydex IWB for my 1911sc, and other than cosmetics, I can't see any reason why the real kydex Blade-tech is worth $50 more. I haven't bothered to spend the $10 yet, but I'll probably get this too:DOH attachment
splashdown
I first got a Kytac for my G35 then realized it was riding way too high. I bought a DOH attachment and fitted it to the Kytac (first photo). This was really stretching the 50mm rule so I modified it (second photo) by heating and molding the beltloop of the Kytac. I really love this setup for my Glock. http://home.comcast.net/~prophet60091/images/DOH-Kytac1.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~prophet60091/images/DOH-Kytac2.jpg
