Matt Cheely
Here's my 3rd limited gun in uh... 6 months? What can I say, I like buildin' guns Runs 100% from the very first shot and puts them in about a 1" hole at 15 yards shooting freestyle. Brazos Custom
You might want to be careful about modifications to the underside of the frame. ATF requires that manufacturers identify firearms with their Name, City, and State. It looks like that was removed from what I can see in the picture. I am not sure it is ok to remove this info from the frame - similar to removing the serial number. Might want to check with the ATF to be sure. As far as I am aware, and all I can find says that you are prohibited from removing the serial number. 00bullitt
Just curious why the short dustcover? And how does it shoot compared to a full dustcover? I was considering building a 5" short dustcover next. Would like to hear your thoughts.

Matt Cheely
I'm really digging the short dustcover. Moves faster, balances well in my hand and the recoil doesn't bother me. As long as the sights return to the same spot, who cares how much the muzzle flips? Try one, you might like it.
dirtypool40
yup, that's my take. I've shot short DC's for a couple years now and the long heavy guns just feel sluggish. Subjective, I know, but that's why Baskin Robbins didn't stop at vanilla. Sweet ride Matt. See you in FL, PM me about your mags.
