BrianC
My wife and I are both avid IDPA/IPSC shooters. We go through alot of rounds each year, but we do not have time to reload, nor do we have the desire to reload. We would rather pay for factory ammo. Believe me, I know there are alot of advantages to reloading, but I've been bumped from Marksman all the way to Master shooting factory ammo with a stock glock, so I'm really not interested in reloading. What I am interested in is getting a good deal on ammo since I plan to buy in bulk. We both shoot Glock 34's and we like to use Winchester 115gr 9mm. However, we are tired of going to Walmart every month and buying hundreds, sometimes thousands of rounds. My question is this: Does anyone know of a distributor or dealer who will sell me Winchester 115gr. 9mm (or equal) in large quantities at a DISCOUNTED rate (between 8,000 and 10,000 rounds per purchase)? BigDave
You might look into some commercial loaders that have ties to the shooting sports. Precision Delta (MS), Zero (AL) or Atlanta Arms and Ammo (GA) or Georgia Arms (GA) may be able to give you a break on larger orders or work with you on shipping. I realize that this isn't WWbx, but they load quality ammo that should more than meet your needs.
warpspeed
Precision Delta Corp in MS is a Winchester distributor. Phone: (662) 756-2810 I have bought case quantities of stuff before and got good pricing and great service.
BrianC
Thanks BigDave and Warpspeed. I contacted Precision Delta and they sell their Winchester 115gr 9mm for around $150 for a 1,000 rds plus shipping plus an 11% excise tax. I pay $128 at Walmart. Even their reloaded practice ammo was more expensive than Walmart. Maybe Walmart is my best bet???
al503
Maybe Walmart is my best bet??? If you're OK with their 115 gr rounds (I like a heavier bullet as it feels softer to me) I don't think anyone can deliver their ammo at that price. jasmap
You can maybe try WOLF directly. I have a friend that has ordered mass quantities from them. Personally I use a lot of Precision Delta and love it. I did have a bad round from them at the Nationals this year but overall I'm pleased with their product. DanM
I burn mountains of 9mm myself and the best deal I've seen is the Miwall reloads from buyammo.com @ 109.95/1000. They are also at the local gunshows so I can buy there and save on shipping. Shoot them an e-mail and see if they are at a show near you.
cking
Get FFL holder to give you a copy of his FFL. Some $$$ dollars involved. Then find a distributor within driving distance. Call them and then pick them up yourself. Shipping is the killer these days.
Z-man
+1 on the Miwall. I reload my own, but when traveling and in need of some cheap 9's, I bought some 125gr. Miwalls and they ran perfectly for just a hair more than the cost of reloads. You can buy them online at Outdoor Marksman Corporation.
