45 auto rim ?

Has anybody, or does anybody, shoot 45 auto rim in their 45 long colt gun?

Rim is too thick. If you want a shorter case for a 45 long colt try Starline .45 cowboy brass.

I don't really, but, somewhere and I don't know where. I came up with 500 new Star line 45 auto rim cases.

The 45 Auto Rim was specifically made to use in 45 Auto revolvers to allow shooting without need half or full moon clips,

 

Likely not to work in any other application.

cowboy is alot shorter,, its 45 acp length.  .892 schofield is 1.010 ,  45 cowboy lets you use ACP dies and load data.. IAW starline, you may have to tweak your gun to run Schofield as its rim is different..
Far as the auto rim,, I would probably just sell the brass in the non dealer brass section..  even if I find the 325 thunder ranch I want, Id probably not want it..
Although now that I think about it,,, You could run classic in Icore with it if anyone makes a speed loader.
