ysrracer
I picked up a 6" 617 today, that's 100% reliable with Armscore .22 ammo, and has a 7 pound double action trigger pull. How do I figure out how they did it? (I'm not a gunsmith) . Edited January 27, 2021 by ysrracer
jcc7x7
Not real hard Polish everything Set strain screw till everything goes off. That's usually around 7 for a 617. Realize every revo is different and will come in slightly different

ysrracer
Luckily my local gun store is loaded with .22 ammo. It's 40 bucks for 500. Not cheap, but better than primers Hey wait a second. Can I cut a .22 round off, and JB Weld it into a primer pocket?

I'm not a ballistician but I'm gonna say... yes. Just be sure to video the outcome. Are 617's that rare? I didn't think they were particularly hard to find (well, compared to everything else right now) but I admittedly haven't looked in a while.
