Todd B.
Hi All, Looking to move into carry optics and have a gen2 G17. I've seen a lot of machined slides for gen 3's.Are gen 2 and gen 3 compatible as far as slides go? thanks.
dapribek
I don’t have the answer to that question, but if you contact this company which milled 2 slides for me, they’ll be able to help you. Great work by the way. http://jagerwerks.com/
Southpaw
Yes, slides are same for Gen 2 and 3.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I am using a Gen 2 right now for Carry Optics. I am using a Brownells Gen 3 slide cut for a RMR. I am using a Holosun 507C and like it alot. By using another slide I can use the pistol for Carry Optics and Limited Minor or Production. If you have any questions I would be happy to help. Thanks, Eric
Todd B.
Thanks everyone. Does anyone make a slide already milled for the Delta Point? Do the custom milled slides get the dot lower than the stock MOS models?

Clear 2 part epoxy, black blasting grit and a little time making the grip rough to fit my hands. Thanks, Eric
Todd B.
Seems like the Delta Point is the preferred optics around here, I wonder why everyone seems to offer cut slides for the RMR?

The RMR is by far the most popular among the tactical/self defense crowd. That market is wayyyy larger than the USPSA Carry Optics market
