Do I Need New Followers?

I think my Grams followers are 5ish years old. Should I order new ones when I order springs this year?

I’d say no unless you’re having problems.

As long as they are not gouged up and work, I don’t see a need too unless you just want to and keep old ones as backup.

I think they are ok. They look a little beat up but otherwise they work.

I would order new.  Don't use them unless you have to (or want to).  I keep a conditioned spring and follower set for every mag used for USPSA, just in case.  I haven't had to use them for the last two full seasons, but I'm ready when problems develop.  At the first sign of trouble, I'll replace all the sets and order new ones as backup.

All of the pros that offer advice on mag tuning (Dave, Bob, Bobby, Adam) say that you should not replace the follower in a working mag.  They also say that once you have a follower trimmed and tested it should stay with that mag tube.  I replace mag springs once a year and have never replaced followers.

where can you get just new grams followers?  At shooter connections grams followers come with springs?  I really like the TTI springs, but not happy with their followers for 9mm/38 super.  Followers have worked great for 40.

forgot, I agree, once the follower and tube are fitted and working, just springs.
