zen_grasshopper
I have the .240” high ones with minimal adjustment to the rear sight. I would prefer the .100 or .105 to the .090 it is just a bit too thin.
ringram
Slide stops usually bust around 30,000 I have done 2. I just cycle them from match gun into practice and put a new one in the match gun. Had one extractor die around 40,000 tip broke off. Easy fix. Always have a spare gun on hand though. I went the opposite route and bought the badass reamer so I don’t have the bulged cases that happen when shoving a long 147 back into well used brass. Both routes work. what badass reamer did you buy, thanks man.

If all you’re going to cut are Shadows, Tanfos, and 1911 barrels an ordinary Clymer reamer from Brownells will work just fine. If you want to cut things with hardened barrels? Walthers, m&Ps, P-series CZs, Glocks... you need to go carbide. @1911luvr had a couple made a while back. He may still have one. Flyingpig
Got mine in November as well. About 30k through the gun. So far a broken slide stop, and broke the nose of of my ejector. Everything else ran fine. Don't think I had a single ammo related malfunction all year. I'll be buying another Shadow 2 shortly. Great guns.
