  1. I heard the argument was it's just CO with magwell... Same failed logic before in uspsa. Of course once it gets approved most guns will be 2011s. Nobody is going to buy an optic 2011 if the division doesn't exist. Checkout pics on FB Limited Optics group, virtually all 2011. It will pass once the boomers in ipsc understand the logic. It's already the 2nd largest division at recent uspsa L2 matches. (Redrock Rumble) etc.
  2. Newer ginex are fine. The earlier ones sucked. The press looks good, but the throw is too long imo. However easy fix with an offset arm etc.
  3. Nobody has mentioned a few things. 1 Ballistic coefficient of 147 is best 2 jacketed are best for accuracy all being equal You also need to be aware of bullet diameter, CZ often like larger diameters for best accuracy. Exposed lead base jackets work well as I think they swell to fit the bore better. The RMR you have should be good. Especially the Match Winner. I can go from like 6" to 2" just by running the right bullet Also be aware fitting a new barrel will get you under 2" group at 25. You most definitely want the most accurate gun and load you can get. You are losing points otherwise. But Id try running different bullets first. See what that gets you.
  4. Mine is working fine. Yeah its tight for the 24th, but what do you expect? 100% reliable now. Im using it hard to see what durability is like. The grams 23+1 have been 100% for many years. So Im hoping the Rune are 24+1 with the same reliabilty.
  5. +1 to the above. Try .357 125RN etc. Not 9mm .355 stuff. When my barrels wear out the groups open out. Your bore might just be too loose for .355 ammo. Some make .356 or use .38 ammo which is .357. You can just fire a round with a primer only and drift it out then measure it. (Use coated for this, its softer)
  6. +1 in the explanation above. Check your follower and spring glide in and out effortlessly from the mag. If not.. Fix it. Polish front or back of follower and /or lightly bend the follower and top spring coil forward or back to align properly with mag etc..

    TSO Romeo 3 max/ XL

Czc plate system is preferred imo. WAY faster and easier to change Optics if you want. Plus offers some Absorption of recoil.. Also I take it you understand the plate is recessed for the firing pin. Meaning it's mounted almost as low as direct mount. Like maybe 0.040" different..
  8. Ok, update After a few days of running 23 and filling the follower a little to make it run smoothly I can confirm 24+1 with the Rune. Needs a hard smack to seat, but seems to run fine. Will monitor over time. But seems ok now. Just needed a few days of hard use at 23.
  9. So far Rune no good for 24+1 Maybe 23.5 max. Also had some feeding issues. Follower is printed so a bit rough. Yes, I'm running alloy henning pads.. Need to do more testing, my henning pads are a few years old. But if the feeding does indeed suck, then they are a hard pass. So far they don't work. But I'm not giving up on them totally yet.
  10. Cool thanks... Will get a couple of Rune to try.
  11. So I see both of these guys do kits. Anyone got feedback on which one is best for reliability, ease of reload, plus mag stuffing etc? Thanks

    czechmate barrels!?

If you line the barrels up side by side you will see the newer ones have a longer lockup lug from where they used to beak. From memory 0.17" vs 0.20" or there about at the front. Basically it was from unlocking that they used to break. See pic below.

    czechmate barrels!?

Yeah as above.. Cz managed to get me a lightly used D series to crack on with. So many thanks to them for that.

    czechmate barrels!?

Screwed for a while yes. Though CZ just got back to me with a tentative date for some more barrels. 3 months + Fortunately the guns come with 2. But if you shoot a good amount, its very likely you will break the lugs. Especially on the older series. The newer ones have a redesigned slidelock lug.

    czechmate barrels!?

Yes I have tried many things to no avail. Hence this post searching for a spare.. Pretty poor on CZ part if you ask me, not to have any spares for years..

    czechmate barrels!?

No. Out of warranty and they have had none for ages / years.

    czechmate barrels!?

Nope. They said they would not take the 14x1 thread. But yes they make them long enough. Basically a 5.2" shadow 2 barrel.. Threaded..

    czechmate barrels!?

Ok, so for about 2 years now Ive been trying to find and obtain a replacement czechmate barrel. Does anyone know where I can get one or more from? My A series Czechmate barrel broke, so trying to get a replacement, preferrably the newer D series... Help
  19. Often it will "look right", but its not sitting high enough up in the slide.. As above you carefully file the rear or the barrel around the chamber that butts up against the breachface.. there are video's on youtube. You can check this by comparing the depth of the factory working barrel against the depth of the new barrel from the top of the slide to the top of the barrel.
  20. One thing to consider is that you can buy HS-6 direct from Hodgdon with a 5 x SKU limit, which means 40lb. Its not there all the time, but when it is, no 1lb limits etc.

    Slide Stops

Yep the compact p-01 stop is exactly the same as shadow 2. They bust about every 30k rounds. I just cycle them down from match gun to spare then into practice gun. Placing the new one in the match gun each break.
  22. The front sight will initially help you transition from Irons. But eventually it becomes a distraction and impedes visibility. Just remove it and replace the roll pin as per above suggestions..
  23. ... And barrels are impossible to come by..

    CZ TS 9mm barrel

Use someone elses to test fit. My 40 TS barrel fits perfect in my shadow 2. The hood and barrel diameters, lugs etc are the same. The reason they clearly have different part numbers is because the Shadow is 4.79 or something inch and the TS is 5.2... But given Bartso do longer Shadow2 barrels as long as there is no threads etc at the bushing area you should be good to go. I could fit the 9mm TS barrel into the shadow and go and shoot that to test I guess. Maybe I will. I have no doubt it will be fine other than the heavier barrel maybe affecting cycling. As for 9mm in 40, yes it works, I just used a 9mm barrel and it feeds and ejects fine, but not the other way around. The extractor helps center the 9mm and extracts it fine. 40 in the Shadow 2 doesnt work because the breach face is too small. I dont doubt you could open it out and make yourself a 40 cal shadow 2 very easily. Euro Shadow mags are marked both 40 and 9mm one on each side. I did not change the recoil spring in my 40 to 9mm TS barrel swap and it cycled fine.
