High grip but mag release

hello everybody

when you have your grip very high with your support hand, does the mag release annoy you?

using a shadow 2 and a firm grip im not sure if my grip is right

the mag release is in the way

It can be a problem for some, especially if you have an extended mag release.

I tried the extended paddle on my tanfo and had the same issue. You could try taking the paddle off your gun or using a mag release from another gun...although I'd like to see a picture of your grip just to be sure you're not doing something wildly incorrect

I’m as high as I can get on my shadow 2 and have never had this issue. I’d like to see your grip.

On my dad ts I can feel the extended mag release on the bottom of my hand . Ive never had any problems just feel it.

I shoot with a varry canted grip much like Bob Vogels.

i marked the spot where the mag release touches my hand.

when using a standard grip I have no problems.

but as far as I know a high grip should be preferred

I hope im not doing something incorrect.

This was one of the reasons I never adopted the high, canted support hand grip. Between the tip of my trigger finger rubbing the palm of my left hand, accidentally popping mags and the mechanics of it just being wrong, I gave it up after a very short trial.

On my EAA Witness , I move my left hand down ,  so more of my palm contacts the grip.My left thumb is directly under my right thumb. My thumbs are lying on each other vertically.
