MemphisMechanic
@Sarge I think it’s rather obvious I was referring to pointing the gun at things as if shooting it. Edited August 30, 2018 by MemphisMechanic

MisterB
There are things that happen at a club match that anyone on the squad can and should be responsible for calling STOP, and calling for a DQ. There are some instances that call should only be made by the RO running the shooter. It takes knowledge of the rules, experience, and tact to be able to judge the difference. Matt1911
I got myself a DQ today, right after having to DQ a new shooter. 3 gun match, the new shooter was about to get his guns set up for the COF, when someone asked if he remembered to turn his dot on. While facing up range, he pulled his pistol from the holster, pointed it at several people's groin while he tried to see if the dot was on. 2 shooters later and I'm up. I shoot the rifle, flip on the safety then run to the dump table to drop the rifle and retrieve shotgun. While I'm reaching for the shotgun, I notice the rifle still moving, almost in slow motion as i see it come off the table, hit muzzle on the ground then fall with it facing up range. I stop and DQ myself cause the RO just has a deer in the headlights look.
