hopalong
Well, with 1 week before the Big Dance I have a few observations !!!!! Jerry Miculek is now on the Revolver Squad and not with Kay...... There is one poor Production shooter on the Revolver squad, what is up with that ??? There are 3 Revolver shooters not on the Revolver squad..... There are 7 returning wheel gun shooters from last year...... Number of wheelgunners in OHIO....20 A USPSA record for revos at 1 match Number of wheelgunners signed up for Nats.....20 tying the record set at OHIO.... Good luck to all, drink lots of water, gatoraid ect. enjoy yourselves.... See ya'll there..... hopalong
cliffwalsh
Don't forget my bullets Sam. If there is no room, tell chad to leave the drum of astroglide home this year. I was surprised at the # of returning revos from last nats. I guess it is good we have 13 new shooters this year. Maybe next year we get the other 10 back and have 30??? Seeya next week, El Conquistador!!!!!!!!!!!
hopalong
Can anyone else think of a better way of keeping the competition down besides leaving their bullets in TN ???? I would rather had all the revos from last year return and the 13 new ones !!!! That would have easily been the largest growth in a division by far !!!! See you guys there !!! Waltermitty
This is my first trip so I'm pretty excited. I'm very happy to be able to shoot with such an august crew. I'm sure I will learn a lot.
Round_Gun_Shooter
Good luck and good times to you all. I hope this chance for a revolver video is taken advantage of by someone. Looks like a little jet lag for Jerry M. He is scheduled for demonstrations at the S&W Factory next week also. Regards, Gary
reneet
Jerry's off shooting the ESPN Outdoor Games as we speak, then heads for the factory. Kay said she's picking him up @ in St Louis PM on the 16th. He may end up back on the ladies squad.
Carmoney
Sounds like ol' Jerry's gonna be tired and worn-out. So take it easy on him, OK Cliff?
D.carden
I'd be cool if he shot with the Revo squad!! Puts more pressure on the rest of us, but thats part of the game. Dan

Carmoney
Dave, Cliff is young, but not so young as to keep him from already becoming a household name in the nation of Ecuador. Mike

Airedale
Cliff, You know I always have to take a shot about your age I use my vacation in Iowa every year. The Airedales need pheasant time! John is focused more on PPC this year-it's job related. Have fun at the revolver nationals and make us proud! Dave
Patrick Sweeney
A household name in Ecuador? I don't know if I should be awed, scared or amused.
pskys2
Good Luck at the Nationals Mr. Carmoney, The AREA 3 REVOLVER CHAMPION. Kind of thought the Prize Table at the Area 3 should have awarded you a Firearm, rather than Raffle off the extras. Did you get lucky at the drawing? I couldn't wait around for it. I now take off any Bad MoJo I may have set upon you at the Sunflower Classic, As if it did me any good, you kicked my butt at both mathces, then again it may have been GOOD MoJo? Can the two get mixed up? Hose 'em down at the Nationals!! Good luck to you and Sam. Dave

I'm happy to report that while I didn't win anything in the drawing, Sam's lucky ticket won a Caspian 1911 frame. That, along with the Briley barrel he got off the prize table last year at the Steel Challenge, will make the beginnings of a nice single-stack pistol for him. (Not a revolver, admittedly, but still "old school" as Hopalong would say...) Anyway, we all know John B. was the real winner of Area 3, although I'm pretty happy having the area title and a nice plaque to prove it. By the way, Sam picked up one of your nice hand-made moon caddies off the prize table--thanks for donating it to the cause. Are you shooting the Great Plains Sectional match in Omaha in Sept.? I'd like to try to get enough wheelgunners there to have a good race again, like we did at the Sunflower. Take care, thanks for the good mojo! pskys2
Can't committ to anything right now. It may be August before I can get things settled down. Would like to. If for no other reason than to help out Chris Davies, he used to be a CCPS member. If I do I'll take the BRT. Dave
