3djedi
Found an x5 and it's on the way right now. Quick question, will the loads I have for a glock 34 chamber in the X5? They are 1.135" Montana gold JHP's. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

BillGarlandJr
I've loaded the exact bullet you mention to exactly that length. Runs like a champ in the X5.

CHLChris
Anybody do any extensive OAL tests? Such as, what is the max length for the 320 mags? Is there a certain OAL that feeds better? I'm coming to the X5 out of the Glock world and I've been loading everything to 1.125-1.130. Should I consider changing this length for the X5? ddc
Just plunk tested, but have not test fired, my current load in my brand new, just picked up, X5. Blue Bullets 147 RN loaded to 1.130-1.135... (M&P Core 5" with Apex barrel, also works with stock barrel) I found a couple loaded a little longer to 1.137 and they plunked with absolutely no hint of a problem. I will try to do some OAL plunk testing with the BB 147 RN over the next week or so.
ddc
No specific max OAL plunk testing yet but I did create some loads that OAL'd out to around 1.140/1.141. (Used some CBC brass which was stiff enough to push the OAL out a bit from my normal 1.135ish) Plunking did not reveal any issues. (Blue Bullets 147 RN). Took them to the range and again there were no issues.
