moonshoxx
I just one a 9mm in a drawing. My question is whether it will run my 130 pf loads stock. Any insight is greatly appreciated
Hooked
Put in a 7 or 8# recoil spring and you should be good to go. Other good additions: Techwell mag well and grips, and some grip tape on the front strap. If you reload, see my post regarding the tight chambers in the SA ROs. mscott
I just picked one up and it runs minor ammo just fine as it came out of the box.
GrumpyOne
Considering that WWB 115 grain FMJ's are about a 135 PF, it should run them no problem.
djcsmith
Your stock gun should eat 130PF ammo fine. However, most guys in my area run a 9 pound recoil spring. In USPSA, Major guns seem to be the norm. In IPSC, Minor guns are more common. It has to do with stage design.
OPENB
I like minor SS for anything but the SS Nat'ls. Stage planning like the production shooters. Get good mags, use good ammo, pay attention to extractor tension. A 9mm should run just fine.

The year before I shot minor, huge mistake
je85
I run a 10 lb spring for my 126 pf loads. The 10 lb also will cycle with 110 pf loads for steel. I have had problems with an 8 lb not returning the slide all the way. Mine is the all stainless version.
427Cobra
I ran my 9RO with stock recoil spring, ditched the ILS and installed a S&A Magwell with 70 series guts, Wilson mags
