Filling 1050 Powder Hopper

Might seem a silly thing for some, but I hate spilling powder when filling the hopper. Some of the 4lb jugs have rather large openings (ETR-7 is really big). My solution:

Purchase a "Canning" or "Mason Jar" funnel at Wallmart for $2.50.

The wide mouth funnel fits perfectly into the powder hopper and the super large funnel opening catches any stray grains of powder that would otherwise trickle down into the press.

This, bought one for a few dollars on Amazon. I have a similar one for pouring the powder back into its original container as well.

I cut the bottom off a 20oz Coke bottle and have been using it for 15 years now it is as discolored as my powder hopper.

I just pour powder from my 8lb or 4lb. jugs into a 1 lb. jug using a funnel and then refill hopper from the 1 lb.
