STI Eagle vs FGW Atlas Gunworks

I currently shoot an STI Eagle in 40 - I am interested in a custom/semi custom - perhaps from Freedom Gunwirks or Atlas Gunworks

How much of a performance difference can one expect?

All the custom smiths build great guns. Pick the one that appeals to you most. That being said, the CK Arms blasters are a great value for the money.

Unless you are an upper level shooter I doubt you'll notice much difference at all when on the clock.

It might be worth investing some thought in what could be improved upon in your eagle. Also probably worth trying someone's edge or equivalent long dust over/bull barrel setup to see if you prefer that over your eagle in terms of weight & balance. There are a lot of good gunsmiths that can build what you want, you just need to understand what that is.

I had an eagle and sold it. It shot well, but the bluing started to wear through after not that many rounds. One advantage of say a marauder or hex tac is more durable finish than the eagle. The semi-customs will cost more, and the tolerances will probably be tighter. I have a FGW limited, and it's top notch work. But only you know what you're willing to pay for

I shoot a 6" Eagle with upgrades and slide lightning. Have owned many high end guns, but this is the one I keep!
