Paule
How bright is the illumination? Most of the battery units fade to black when the sun is out. If it is bright and holds zero, might be fun to try.

Cactustactical
If the dot is 1 MOA, it will be too small to use effectively at CQB distances, lighted or not. It needs to be at least 2 MOA. We were down that road with the prototypes of the IOR 1.1 - 4 and it was simply to small to easily pickup on fast snap shots.
Bear1142
Greywolf, Send me a prototype when you get one and I'll give it a full workout and give you a detailed report. Erik
norbs007
I agree on the 2MOA for close targets. If it can be made with a 30mm tube and a wide angle lens like the Simmons ProDiamond. Also make it a real 1x and under $300, I'll buy one.
ErikW
I think that scope could own the 3 gun market. True 1x, variable out to 4x, hashes for long distance... 1 MOA dot would be good out to about 300 before your bullet starts to drop and you need to use the hashes. Dot size doesn't matter for close-in because you'd be using the ring.

MstngLX50
I'd be in if CDNN carries them for 49.98 There's more info here Mueller Scope And on page 6 there are more links to other forums discussing it, including links to this thread and the FAL. Looks like an awesome idea. Alan

GBTX01
If they can keep it in the 150-$250 range then I think that they have real winner on their hands.
benny hill
If it's being built, make the FOV at least 85' @ 100 yds.on 1x & focus at 3 ft. to 400 yds. We have these now.
