A New Cqb Optic - Would You Buy It?

Recommended Posts

How bright is the illumination? Most of the battery units fade to black when the sun is out.  If it is bright and holds zero, might be fun to try.

Good question - I will see if I can find out - based on previous experience with this company's lighted reticle optics, it is pretty bright - I'll check with the owner and see.

If the dot is 1 MOA, it will be too small to use effectively at CQB distances, lighted or not. It needs to be at least 2 MOA. We were down that road with the prototypes of the IOR 1.1 - 4 and it was simply to small to easily pickup on fast snap shots.

I think that scope could own the 3 gun market. True 1x, variable out to 4x, hashes for long distance...

1 MOA dot would be good out to about 300 before your bullet starts to drop and you need to use the hashes. Dot size doesn't matter for close-in because you'd be using the ring.
