Hi , another from Indiana , and actually "Genos" is my bro in law, I've been shooting since I was 5 or so, I'm 27 now. I've been shooting uspsa for about 2 years now. Im shooting open with a conglomeration Cz/Tanfoglio that maybe you folks could help me identify.

I've been lurking on here for quite some time, so I finally joined. I have learned a wealth of information and I'm drilling like crazy for the Indiana section shoot in a month or so.

I like shooting 3 gun but it's expensive ! I enjoy long range precision Shooting in the winter. I'm hoping to learn more and maybe help some others out on here !!

SWEET another shooter and forum member from the GREAT State of Indiana. Even though its winter here there are a few places, Parabellum and Applied Ballistics, holding indoor matches. Even though its inside with limited space they do some pretty fun stages in  my opinion. Hope to see you there.

Thanks fellas , I’m in the northern part of the state. Michigan city rifle club holds indoor match every Wednesday, I used to go there religiously but my wife’s work schedule put a stop to that.   I’m not a huge fan of shooting indoors but I dry fire a bit and shoot the rifles a lot in the winter..

Every Wednesday!!! That would be sweet. I'm ready for the winter to be gone and get to shooting outside. Had some work done on my Limited gun and ready to plow through the reloads at matches and practice.

Yep, every Wednesday.   And if the month has a fifth Wednesday, they do a fun shoot.  Bring a backup gun, PCC, etc. They’re pretty loose with the rules as far as equipment.

Welcome. I am in Hobart. You may want to check out Michigan city rifle club in the spring. They shoot Rimfire Challenge all year round, but in the winter they are inside. They move outside in April.

You are not that far from Bend of the River, in MI. They stated shooting Steel Challenge last year and will start in April this year. There is also North Porter County Conservation Club (NPCCC) near Chesterton. They put on lots of different matches. They do an outlaw steel match and I see they added a sanctioned Steel Challenge for this year.

There is New Buffalo Rod & Gun Club in MI, too. They don't have a lot of pistol matches, but shoot a lot of trap. They have a nice mover target, but do not do Action Pistol any more. They do use it in November for their Running Deer matches. Also, Warsaw has a nice club with quite a few matches when the weather breaks. Below are some web sites so you check them out.

Hey, thanks for the welcome.  Michigan city rifle club is the club I am referring to for the Wednesday shoots..  I shoot at NPCCC and BORCC also.  I shoot their uspsa and 3 gun matches.   I used to shoot steel at Npccc, although they are fun I found it more beneficial to save the money time and ammo and just practice at home.   It was hard for me to swollow spending $20 entry fee, being there for 6-7 hours and looking at the scores and seeing I spent less than 30 seconds shooting.  Not to mention someone there has sticky fingers,  they snagged 4 of my mecgar mags for my old open pistol.

Ill have to look at it again if they’re found a sanctioned steel shoot though.  I haven’t looked at the others before but I will do, thanks for pointing them out.

I have been skipping NPCCC steel matches lately. They get too big of a crowd. I have been going to Michigan city rifle club for their Rimfire Challenge. They put on a good match. I don't shoot USPSA much. I prefer steel matches. As for 3-gun, I shoot cowboy action. It's like 3-gun with old timey guns. That is me in my avatar, Whip McCord.

Check out Warsaw sometime. I shoot their Steel Challenge, but they also shoot USPSA. It's a nice group of shooters.
