Slostang
I've seen guys getting 30rds in their 170mm MBX mags all over the place. Most I've seen doing it are running 38sc, I'm running 9maj. Most I've been able to squeeze in is 29, "stroking" doesn't help. Any tips or tricks to try to get that extra round with 9mm?
al503
A lot depends on whether the mags have the first gen springs/followers or the 2nd gen guts. With the same tubes I got 30 9mm with the first gen guts and there is no possible way of getting 30 with the new guts. Same with the 140's. 24 first gen and 23 with the 2nd gen guts. outerlimits
Sold all mine, but all I had to do was put TTI guts and pads on the tubes-worked all day with 30 SC.
sbo76
Mine loads 30 sc, 29 9mm. The rim is larger in the 9mm.
Maximis228
I get 30 all day (9 Major) with new and old springs in 3 different mags. Im sure if you contact MBX they will help you out.
Slostang
All of mine have the new springs and followers. Maybe that combined with the larger rim is my issue. Bummer!
ctay
I can't get more than 29 in my SC mags - with either follower. 29 is still pretty good though and they run 100%.
SSGJohnV
30 from day one in my new Gen spring and follower. Email Adrian and ask him. Also, are you using a mag loader?
