RickyH
How many grains of powder are you using with a 124 out of the CZ 75 sp-01?
IDescribe
Rick, bullet weight alone does not determine charge weight. You would need to give a specific bullet and target velocity to get a useful answer.
Hi-Power Jack
Depends - lead bullets require LESS powder to get to PF 130 than do jacketed bullets. OAL can also have some effect. And, of course, each gun will be different.
noylj
Would a CZ-75 count? In one gun, I found that a 125gn MasterCast L-CFN and 2.9gn of TiteGroup produced 1010 fps. In another gun, I found a 122gn L-FP and 3.0gn of TiteGroup gave 892fps and 3.3gn of TiteGroup gave 1020fps. I didn't like either the lack of accuracy or the large jump in velocity for a small change in charge weight with TiteGroup, so I don't use it for 9x19 any more. RudyVey
Acme 124 gr coated: 4.1 gr Titegroup
3gunDQ
I recomend starting with 3.3 and crono. When crono-ing point the gun up and tap the gun to get the powder close the the primer... TG is low charge weight to that will help you gauge your FPS.
