bafsu92
I've got an old surplus CZ85 waiting to be a project. I thought I'd make it a carry gun when I picked it up but after weighing it whole and in parts I think I can make a carry optics gun with it and keep a grip feel that I'm used to with my production Shadow's. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a shop to mill the slide for a FF3? I figure it should be able to go pretty low since there's no FP block to worry about hitting. If the shop can refinish at the same time that would be a plus but not a requirement. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
RIPsaw475
Springer has a dove tail platform that replaces your rear sight without milling. Not sure if it will work for you but it is worth looking at.
bafsu92
I've looked at that, it would put me real close on weight and I'm not a big fan on that type of setup. I've tried the dovetail plate mount on a Glock and don't really like the way it looks and feels. I want it milled in as deep as it can go. himurax13
I thought a steel frame CZ75 with a magazine was already above the weight limit before adding the optics.
bafsu92
The pistol with an empty mag weighs 31.1 oz. I figure with the weight loss of the milling I may still have enough room to spare to go to a heavier guide rod Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MrPostman
I can mill it for you. Send me a pm and we can go over the details.

Lol, A customer of ours who works for a diving company found it off the coast of Louisiana in the GoM. Apparently it's a Nazi German anchor.
