kneelingatlas
I'd believe TiN coating will make a barrel smoother/faster, but that seems like a lot, how big was your sample size? Did you load those rounds at the beginning or end of a session? My KKM barrel is slower than my Schumann.
amp
That seems really fast, my non TiN KKM barrel is faster than my SV but not by that much.

BeerBaron
I'm guessing you mean SRP? I'm not sure what the SSP stands for otherwise.

pitvpr
SSP=SPP..everybody knows that , and no I'm using not SRP's I gave up on rifle primers after encountering breech face erosion, the rifle primers are too hard and not sealing the pocket, also have a tendency to hide pressure signs. The OP should consider all options and go with what works for him/her, some folks are going with SPMP and having good results. -/

(KKM TiN coated) 5" FGW 9mm with 3 holes 1.160 OAL 124gr PD JHP CCI SPP 7.0 grain Autocomp 179 PF average of 20 rounds Or an inaccurate chrono I just tested some Autocomp loads. 5", no holes and 7.0 gr gave me 177 pf with small pistol magnum primers loaded at 1.177" with 124 gr MG's. My barrel isn't normally that fast so I was surprised. Maybe there is a hot lot of Autocomp floating around and we both got some.
