Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I just ordered these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VDBVAZY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Hopefully they have some adjustment.
  2. They are the same. Optical illusion.
  3. No, mine have deformed since new. I typically only download on Classifier stages to ensure they drop.
  4. NFA 80% Glock lower NFA billet Side charge upper Wilson arms 16" barrel JP brake Hyperfire 24E trigger Captured pins Faxon Bolt JP Silent Captured Spring, .223 spring and H2 buffer weight Glock 33 round mags with Taylor Freelance +10 pads Taccom magwell Strike industries strike switch safety Odin Works mag release Cmore 6moa railway 125grn SNS round nose 3.4 Vectan Prima V CCI 400 small rifle primers 1.130 oal 135 power factor Runs 147's just as well Runs 100%
  5. FYI, i have now sheared 2 keys on my KVP bolt. appx 700-800 rounds total. both showed signs of stretching, ie over torqued But they were also cheap cap screws. I have some higher quality ones on order now.
  6. Probably a difference in the Ogive of the bullets.
  7. Correct, I understand what you are saying, I want to run a round then eject the unfired case to see if it is slamming into the back of the barrel extension when feeding. I have not had any feeding issues or kabooms, I am just curious if my rounds may be doing this. More of a test of your theory and some peace of mind.
  8. I am running a Glock style lower with no feed issues, but I know many are having issues with Truncated Cone and Hollow points. You may be correct on the compressed load theory as well as the unsupported case. (I will not be ramping my bbl.) I may load a dummy round and see how much setback I get with multiple cycles.
  9. That all makes sense and you have a point with the Sub2000. I wonder if these mfg are pushing the heaver BCG and Buffers because they realize someone may try to shoot some major pf ammo and are designing the system to be as safe as possible. This could be a CYA move on the mfg. I plan to run the lighter system for a while, it feels much better with it, going back to the heavy spring and buffer is not very appealing.
  10. Are you at all concerned running a light weight buffer with the blowback design? I ran a 7.5oz buffer with 308 spring, and it felt really slow. Switched to an H2 with a 223carbine spring and it felt great. Then ran the JP-SCS for 223 carbine and i liked it the most. For security sake, I am thinking of adding one tungsten weight and a 110% spring to it.
  11. I have settled on 124grn Bayou Bullet round nose 3.2 titegroup cci 400 1.13 1131 FPS 140 power factor 16" wilson arms barrel On a side note, this load with a Precision Delta 124 did not make power factor.
  12. I have one on my NFA lower. Well worth the money.
