KAYZER
I've done most all thing on my Limited, but removed the sight (believe it to be a LPA) When I remove the elevation screw i can open it up, but I still see 2 holes, could not fit a hex-key into it? Sorry guys feel I pretty stupid!
kneelingatlas
The holes have set screws in them, the tread is M3x0.5, the hex key size is 1.5mm
KAYZER
I got no purchase with a 1.5MM hex key.. strange!
EngineerEli
Was the gun new when you got it, or used? Unfortunately, it is entirely possible those tiny little set screws got stripped out... Maybe look in there with a flashlight and see if there is anything to see? Make sure your allen key is fresh too, those round out as well... KAYZER
Well guess what...no set screws at all.. It seems that the previous owner used a red-dot and removed the sights. Tapped it out, got the windage to turn again and tapped it back. Any idea where to get those set-screws? It's pretty solid in there now but rather secure it

SCPistolero
The rear sight on my Stock III is slightly off center to the right. I removed the two set screws and tried moving it with a brass hammer and brass drift punch. That sight is not moving. I just said screw it before I get something all jacked up. BeerBaron
just need to hit it harder! I had the same issue with the sights on my ruger 22/45. I was damn near sure there was some hidden screw or glue. just needed to man up and really hit that thing. obviously make sure it's in a vice and use a brass punch. use a big hammer. makes it easier to hit the punch with some decent force without having to swing it like a madman!
