Dillon 1050 cae feeder question

Recommended Posts

Just getting reacquainted with loading on the 1050. Over the course of several hundred rounds i get 8-10 cases that will feed upside down from the case feeder. (less than 1%) I usually put about half a dixie cup of 9mm in the case feeder at a time. Is this normal or am I missing a subtle adjustment?

Add a bit more brass as well. A one pound coffee can is a good amount. Be sure you have the small pistol case feed plate, no spacer washer installed, and run on low speed. Be sure the case feed post doesn't sway as you cycle the handle.

Yeah, set motor to low. (rifle plate being small rifle and all else considered) I had the same thing happen, however even if it does happen, the case will try to feed into the shell plate but gets thrown out because obviously...hasn't been an issue with me even if they do come in upside down.
