dansedgli
Hey guys, what kind of accuracy are you getting with your Trubors at 50 yards? Should it hold a 4 inch group like my revolver does off a bench? I'm starting to think I'm chasing my tail.
Hi-Power Jack
124 gr MG JHP over 6.0 gr WAC at 1.15". 10-shot group in 3", and most in 2". 50 yards from a bench rest.
Service Desk
I have never been happy with mine even after the re-crowning the barrel. About 4" at 50 yards is the standard for most loads. I would be over the moon for a 2" 6 shot 50yard group.
toothguy
A couple of guys in my area shoot Action Pistol with them and are able to get about 1+'' groups at 50 yrds. I think the trick is to use .357 size bullets because the Trubor barrels are .356 in both 9 mm and 38 super. Aircooled6racer
Hello: find what your gun likes. Some powder, brass, bullet and even primers can make a difference. I have noticed that some powders are more accurate than others and chrono more even than others. Bullet weight and type can make a big difference also. Bullseye shooters can tell you more about this. 4" at 50 yards off hand is great for what we do. Thanks, Eric
troupe
Since you wont be shooting off a bench in the match, how can you do free hand. You should always finish up your practice with some accuracy work. It is still nice to know what your gun can do, even off of the bench. Helps to know in the mind.
