SVI Trigger inserts

General question. I have SV trigger bows in my Open and 1911 pistols, I get a new 1911 trigger bow for the my STI and ordered a new Insert with it, the "Shoe" is not as wide as the Bow tri-glide system of the Bow, but I had to look and all of the others I have are the same size of the bow and match up perfect....

Can someone anyone tell me if there has been some change I cant find on part numbers to get the same size?

Hello: That is how mine are. I think they started making them thinner in the past couple of years. Making them smaller makes them faster, I am sure that is it. Thanks, Eric

Looks correct to me. I have installed 4 in the last few weeks and all have looked identical to that.

Yep I bought a SVI trigger bow (non glide) for my STI 2011 and I bought one of all the shoes to try. It looked that way too.

My wife's Cameron Custom that was built in 2013 the trigger shoe and insert are flush, so as suggested above it may be something they've recently started doing.

I think the new trigger bows are wider for 2011s than when SV used plastic grips. They kept the shoe the same size as before.

I just did one two days ago and it looked the same. I am not sure there is two different ones, I think they are all the same now.
