kimel
Yeah, okay, we are months away from Area 1 but the early-bird deadline is only about 5 weeks away... So, which denizens of this place are headed to Area 1 in Missoula in June? I will be there for sure. We gonna have enough for a BE get-together? Chuck Anderson
I'll be there. I missed the last Area 1 in Montana and heard it was beautiful. No way I'm missing this one.
EricW
I'll be there if only to try to slum some MG's cheap. Sandoz and Co. may show if they can get over the incredible embarassment of riding in a Subaru.
SteveZ
I'm goin'.....and RO'in! I'm playing in L10 also (with a single stack I might add). Sounds like there might be quite a few L10 shooters.
LPatterson
I'll be there because I volunteered to run a stage. I'm too cheap to buy brass so I needed another way.
D.carden
Im in, (revo div) My parents live 2.5 hrs away. Perfect time for a vacation with family and some "shooting". Doesn't get any better than that. Dan
John Dunn
I hope to attend with the rest of the Wyoming posse. I'll shoot limited unless I'm triple dog dared by Sam to shoot L-10.
Nate
I'm local and will be there. We will have to find a time to get together for a meal. Nate
Putty
I am in, although the wife wants to rent a cabin on the river so we can bring dog and avoid motel hell. Where does that leave EricW and his rainbow stickered subaru...?? Anyone going have ideas on cabins?
Nate
Eric's Subaru will fit right in in town. There are VW micro bus owners here!, as for the range.......... SANDOZ The KOA has cabins, it might not be a zoo in June. Go to the KOA web and check it out. If not shoot me an email and I will see what I can find. Ron Ankeny
I'll be there with Sam and John. It will be my first Area shoot and I am looking forward to the experience. John: Sam and I are both talking about shooting L10 with single stacks. Alas, my Open gun will be finished in another month and I just don't know about sticking with irons when that dot blaster shows up.
kimel
Rumor has it that Ruby's (match hotel) is pet friendly. If wife comes along the dog will as well and we will be at Ruby's.
Sam
Yep, I'll be there with JD and Ron! There will be quite a few Casper area shooters there as well. That KOA cabin by the river thing sounds nice. VW microbus owners? How quaint! I had heard reports from an anthropoligist friend that there are still some living hippies in that part of the world. Maybe we can scare up a friendly game of full contact frizbee, just to provoke an academic discussion of the shortcomings of socialized health care. John Dunn
Is there a match application on the web somewhere? At USPSA all I get is an E-mail address.
EricW
John, the only place I've seen one is in the last copy of FS.

kimel
Y'all haven't looked very hard. 2005 Area 1 Info Page Match application, hotel info, etc is all there. No stages yet or anything like that. Earlybird deadline is mid-March.
John Dunn
I looked under USPSA and did a google search for "uspsa 2005 area 1 championship" and got diddly. Thanks for the link!
kimel
For whatever reason the USPSA site just gives Paul Miner's email as a link and not a link to Big Sky Practical Shooters (our hosts for this year's Area 1). They haven't had their page up very long so the Google-bots may not have mined that one quite yet.

kimel
Just got the squad assignment email. They claim work/shooting schedules are on the website but don't see them yet. Probably will go up soon though. Should be an interesting match.

Flexmoney
Sam, Keep your right eye on that youngest Rayner boy...he had our whole squad covered with pasters today. I probably still have a few on the back of my shirt. (Kimel...no can do.)
