Ming the Merciless
I know that USPSA has been a rudderless ship for the last 6 months, but I just read an interesting article in the Outdoor Wire. http://www.theoutdoorwire.com/story/1421718114kf050gvh232 Lake Worth, FL - The UMH3 Speed Holster, patent pending is designed for use with the popular UM3 Optic Mount - has been approved by John Amidon, President of USPSA for use in open division competition. Is this an error, or ???? Nothing on the USPSA website, but that is the norm since its still showing stuff from last year. Nothing on the USPSA Faceplant page either? bikerburgess
And there is no approval needed four a holster, it either covers the trigger guard or it doesn't
Chuck Anderson
John was the Director of the National Range Officers Institute for a long freaking time but retired in 2014. Troy McManus took over as DNROI. Phil Strader is and has been the USPSA President for the last couple years.
Ming the Merciless
In that case someone from USPSA may want to contact the Outdoor Wire for a correction.
Shadyscott999
These UM TAC guys are making silly claims all over the place. They are trying to make themselves look legit. It is really rather pathetic.

Nimitz
i'm shocked !! Simply shocked that the news media would publish something without being 100% sure of every fact ... are we sure John Amidon is not in fact the President? Someone contact the Doodie Project for conformation of this incrediable development ...
ZackJones
I suppose it could be possible that John actually approved it in 2014 before he retired. After all it's on the interwebs so it has to be true, right?!

There is nothing to approve, USPSA doesn't have a approved holster list and other than production and single stack anything that covers the trigger is good to go this would include open division as stated in the add
