BeerBaron
What is this new open gun and why have we not seen porn of it yet Baron? haha, no pics here as it's not a tanfog..... I might get booted if I post pics of a 2011 up here... pics soon. atlas: how are you liking your RTS2? 6moa or 8moa? as bright as regular cmore? and how is it compared to 90 mount? my new blaster has an RTS2 on it but not sure if it'll stay that way. I already have a cheely setback mount ready for it and a spare slideride just in case. just to keep on topic, here's a recent pic of my trusty V12 all dirty from a comp. kneelingatlas
I already sold the RTS2, I'm sticking to horizontal slide rides across the board
BeerBaron
Ok. That's not encouraging. Can you tell me this: Dot brightness compared to same moa slide ride? Was the glass size an issue? Was the dot height vs 90 mounted slide ride an issue? Anything else influencing that decision (apart from the woeful reliability record of course)? Looks like I might be needing that cheely setback mount and slideride after all. I really want to like the rts2 but I have my doubts.
kneelingatlas
Slightly higher dot, slightly smaller glass, the only upside was the weight, but it wasn't enough reason for me.
BeerBaron
Thanks mate. I'm a bit sad now but I thought that may be my conclusion too. Non replaceable dot modules is a consideration too for me. Especially since one of my sliderides is now not as bright as it used to be... Oh well. Do you plan on running 9maj or use it for steel? Small frame. I´ll post more pictures as soon as i get the gun. Permits take forever over here And yes, the mount is welded Probably didnt have a drill and tap available The finger grooves are made of some softer material so it should come of easy according to the seller. My guess the gun is built in the 80´s.
