MarkCO Posted February 7, 2014 Share Posted February 7, 2014 If you counter-bore your hand guard to get more than three threads on the magazine tube nut, you might be okay, but the stock magazine tube on everything but the new Competition Tactical is the weak link. It mitigates the problem Mark was talking about, it is super solid and looks cool to boot. More expensive than just adding an extension but worth every penny.
