short reset trigger from Angus production legal?

There are 2 different options from CZ Custom. One is a factory drop in disconnector that eliminates the forward movement of the trigger after it is reset: http://czcustom.com/CZUBPREBDROPINDISCONNECTOR.aspx

The other is their STRS that can only be installed by CZ custom: http://czcustom.com/cz75disconnectorshrt.aspx

I'm not sure what the difference is in these 2 systems. I've got the drop in part in both of my production guns. I've never handled a gun with the STRS. According to the CZCustom web site, both are production legal.

Internal trigger work is explicitly legal in USPSA production. It doesn't make a difference if the internal parts are factory or not. Unless the short reset changes out the actual trigger with something not factory (or available factory on another production approved gun) it is legal in USPSA.

IPSC has different rules and most likely the short reset trigger is not IPSC legal.

Amidon has ruled that you can change darn near whatever you want inside regardless of whether it changes the external appearance of the gun when in battery. Thus, the STRS is legal.

The SRTS only changes the external appearance after the first shot, fwiw, regardless of in/out of battery.
