Franco79
I have 2 beretta 92 pistols. I want to add a rail to one of me and came across this (http://www.brownells.com/shooting-accessories/flashlights-accessories/flashlight-mounts/beretta-92-96-1911-auto-light-rail-mount-prod22337.aspx) Anyone use is before? I see they sell other that are held on by tape or screw to the trigger guard but the brownells one caught my eye because it's small, and looks "factory"

CowToes
I suggest you look at http://www.sight-mount.com/ the guy is a regular over at http://berettaforum.net/. It doubles as a rear sight when you remove your optic, and if i remember correctly he has gotten it approved for USPSA production since it is still a notch and post style. Everyone that has gotten one of them loves them. He can also include Tritium instead of just white dots if you want. Oh, your talking underneath for a light.... in that case buy a 92A1 and then you have three berettas. Three is better than two. Franco79
The rail looks interesting, but I need one to mount underneath barrel, I guess it's called the dustcover.. The rail is for a light.
GreenDragon64
Since you're in Ocala, check out Dan's Gun Room in Inverness if you can make it out that way. They might have a 92A1 for you to look at. The A1 models are a little more expensive than the 92FS, price differential escapes me, as does the extra weight. mikebravo
I have a 92a1, and it's awesome. If you are willing to buy a new gun, that or an m9a1 will be perfect for you. If you want a bolt-on for a 92fs, check out http://www.berettausa.com/products/beretta-92fs/96-picatinny-rail-system/
Chucky
What about the surefire mount? You wouldn't have to drill into your dust cover and it is a pretty solid piece of gear.
5pins
Beretta also has a no gunsmitheing one on their website. I don’t have any experience with it but it’s something you could consider. http://www.berettausa.com/products/beretta-92fs/96-picatinny-rail-system/
Glockster35
Years ago I bought one from Brownells similar to the one posted above. I tried two different times to fit it to my dustcover, both times it turned out off center. The one posted on the Beretta sight is the best option in my opinion, as it can easily be removed if needed. Also, keep in mind no matter the route, you will need a custom holster, it is doubtful you will find a holster for the light on a Beretta that will fit with an add-on rail. jjw
among other things, the 1's surefire makes don't lock back the slide on some models. 1911's & sig specifically. I don't remember which. ask before u buy and go direct as u may need the factory to take it back. they are great c/s and tech help. NOTE: I am a surefire dealer. I don't sell on this site. I come here for info. I wont sell these anyway. good luck jjw
RSDelta
I have an EZ-rail for my 92FS, and it works great. The best part is that it pops on and off in about 2 seconds without tools.
KSwift
You can buy the off-brand ones for only 20 bucks if you're not worried about it being Beretta-branded. If you're feeling particularly cheesy, get grips with a built in rail. Only $40 and all you have to do is remove the grip screws:
