johnny1gun
I know it depends on bullet make. But has anyone shot 147s out of there KKM. Ive heard good things but I am worried because they have a 1 in 20 twist. I heard a 1 in 10 is the way to go. My gun is not very accurate and I have one of these on the way. Any feed back would be great. I shoot a m&p 5in pro 9mm. From 2010. Edited September 26, 2013 by johnny1gun
GlockCanMan
Lots of people here on this forum have the KKM barrel. I myself am one of them. I use the Bayou 147gr bullets without any problems.
vluc
Hmm, a former shooter burned out one or two KKM barrels shooting MG 147's with Titegroup in his G34. If memory serves, I believe he spoke with Kevin (?) at KKM, He switched to 124's after that conversation. Ken_Bird
I got one of the KKM 9mm 5" in my M&P Pro C.O.R.E. The gun incl barrel has been Magna Ported, as is more accurate the I am capeable of shooting it. I load 231 and 124 JHP Montana Gold I feel this is a great combination. MRevolutionIX
I have shot about 7k rounds of moly 147s out of my KKM barrel after switching from 124 FMJs. I like them and have not yet seen any issues.

chuck s
My M&P went from 5 inch groups to half that with a kkm barrel using 147 precision bullets. I have at least 10k rounds through it now. All brands of 147s seem to be ok in my gun.
revchuck
A 1:20 twist will stabilize a 147 grain bullet with no problem. Whether it's accurate is a function of the load and the quality of the gun's build.
johnny1gun
Well I got it today after a troubled journey. I shot it from 15 yards 3 shots made a 1inch group off hand fairly fast.Think its gonna work. Now if I can figure out my light strikes after installing the FSS and multiple spring changes. ?
