Intercooler2
I can put them in zip-locs for transport but need some way of tracking the spring itself. Any suggestions?
euxx
Yellow sticky note wrapped around is staying on it quite well.
kneelingatlas
I don't bother, I just measure coil diameter to determine relative weight.
DrawandDuck
You could always hit the end of the spring with some spray paint...decide what color you want for each weight.....Like C-more does for its dot modules if you wanted to go to the trouble. Nealio
I put it back in the original Wolff package with the card if I ever take a used one out and want to save it.
Intercooler2
On another note how do you know when a spring has met it's service life? Is their a tool for measuring springs or way of figuring out exactly the proper spring for your setup?
praetorian97
Can keep a round count and replace no matter what. On another note how do you know when a spring has met it's service life? Nealio
I throw a new recoil in every 5-10k, and I probably should do the same with the hammer spring.
CHA-LEE
I use a dremel to create small notches on the end of the spring giving each spring weight a unique notch configuration. That way I can pick up any of my springs and look at the end to confirm the notch configuration so I know what weight it is.
