shooterrdy
My buddy has one one both of his 2011's and his shooting improved for sure. I have one in Route The Nitro Finn from speed shooter international
shooterrdy
Got the Finn / thumb rest installed today took some fitting had to reduce the pin size. used some sand paper and a cordless drill worked pretty slick. Fit externally is excellent from the get go nitride finish is tuff, I like the feel fits my hand well and helps keep the nose down found my self shooting left at first seemed to get better with more practice. jimbullet
Has any of you that are using gas pedals finding to have the tendency to press down on the *thumb rest [generic]* automatically? My previous grip I had my thumb extend out and not touching the pistol. With the *thumb rest [generic]*, the intention was for a point to rest my thumb but I am forming a habit to actually press down to sort of lock the muzzle down. Has anyone found this technique helpful or is it a bad habit to avoid?
DGS
I have a little pressure on it naturally but don't really push down. I use it more to resist recoil. The brand of thumbrest may make a difference in how you use it
DrewPetree
i think that it helps with recoil
