xidj
Dean, can a shooter use a 308 AR? I know there is no open class, but I don't think that a 308 provides any advantage over a AR15. Just wondering...Thanks
xidj
I know that Sunday is for backup, but is it also the Prize Table day? I don't imagine you'll have time on Saturday to get all of the scores calculated and the tables ready to do it on Saturday. Thanks.
JMIS
I know that Sunday is for backup, but is it also the Prize Table day? I don't imagine you'll have time on Saturday to get all of the scores calculated and the tables ready to do it on Saturday. Thanks. I talked to Dean today, if all goes as planned, Saturday is match day with prize table on Sunday. Hope is, that match and weather run as smooth as last years 2nd leg. 45shooter
No .308. Since we all used 223/556 for the first match. Plus they are too hard on the targets. Steel really gets beat up especially at the distances I have planned to shoot some of my flashers
orange68
Get ready for EVENT #2 at Peacemaker in Glengary, WV!! Dean asked me to post this for him as a guideline for how much ammo to bring to West Virginia: Round count for each person (not per team) is as follows**: Rifle: 150 Pistol: 150 Bird Shot: 150 Slugs: 5 to 10 **NOTE: PLEASE Keep in mind this round count is per person, not per team. Due to the potential for optional targets on stages AND depending on how you & your team decide to shoot the stages you may personally shoot more or less of each type of ammunition. There can be a lot of variation in a 3-man, 3-gun team event so please consider this a round count guideline. Sorry, but stages will not be posted ahead of time. thanks, I found it. Trivialis
Trying to decide on what to do for Sunday. May have to make an early retreat home. What exactly is going on with prizes on Sunday? Just winning teams get prizes and what time is everything going down as long as it doesn't rain on Saturday?

Just winning teams get prizes and what time is everything going down as long as it doesn't rain on Saturday? We finished like 48th out of 55 teams last year and got some good stuff. Everyone at the match got a Lancer mag plus we got a 1/3 size IPSC steel target with the base and 2x4 to go with it plus some misc coupons and goodies. We practiced a lot this year and straightened out our gear and are sitting in 23rd right now hoping to try for top 15.

T Bacus
What sucks? Having to wait another year to get to do this again! Great match Dean, thanks to you and your crew for all the hard work that went into this and we can't wait to shoot it again next year. And for those who weren't there... stage 6, three shooters on the line, all with shotguns, and 64 spinning, rotating, falling and flying targets downrange. Easily the best stage of the match! 45shooter
ok here we go again. I think I am a decent match director, but not so great when it comes to the technology side. I will attempt to post the second match results and the finals. I want to thank all the sponsors again, especially Colt, Lancer, Noveske, X-treme bullets, Freedom Ammunition, who all donated over 4,000.00 each to the prize table. A rough count came up at about 50-60,000 total for the prize table and that is a low estimate. Hope everyone had a good time, I couldn't put this match on without the sponsors and my RO's who worked their buts off for three days to run the match. I also want to thank all those who bought tickets or took part in the side match to help One Team One Fight. A Navy SEAL charity that is pro gun as well. colt second match reults.doc colt upload finals.doc Edited July 14, 2013 by 45shooter
