Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Trying to decide on what to do for Sunday. May have to make an early retreat home. What exactly is going on with prizes on Sunday? Just winning teams get prizes and what time is everything going down as long as it doesn't rain on Saturday?
  2. I'm about 45 minutes away. I can help setup. I would like to get on a team. I missed this last year but shot the match in the fall at Topton. If anyone is looking please let me know. You can email me at: sp01jjones@gmail.com
  3. XLR Evolutions are the best. That will be my next stock. Don't forget about Stockade Gun Stocks from Kevin Rayhill. You can get them cheap out of the mold and you just have to sand paint and prime. I have done it before...not bad if you are handy. The is the Prairie Dog Tactical stock from Stockade.
  4. Haha "goat slaughter mission". I like noveske. Have one, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. JP may be on my short list. Edit - Oops old thread but i still thinks its funny.
  5. I got a 17" from Wes at MSTN. Its the JLZ (just like Zach Smith) barrel. Rifle gas, lightweight special contour. Real nice. He also has the 18" LW with rifle gas systems and they build great guns. Haven't shot it yet but I'm sure its going to be a tack driver.
  6. Mobil on the carrier/bolt, lithium on the recoil spring, Tetra Gun grease on the charging handle, and Geiselle trigger grease on the trigger
  7. +1 for Mobil One. It stays on longer than any gun oil I've used. Its not wet to touch but its definitely slick after a few hundred rounds. Also wanted to try some Frog Lube....heard good things about it. Plus it was developed by SEALS but I will probably only use that on Airsoft Wednesdays!
  8. If you have a grinder or dremel I usually grind down whichever end I am going to put in first. Don't take too much off. I also use channel lock pliers wraped in electrical and pinch the pin in. It has worked well for me. Think I found that on a guide on arfcom. I seem to be all thumbs when it comes to using punches.
  9. I broke a Craftsman and a battery Dremel. The Dremel still works but is pretty much useless. My next one will be corded and flex for sure. Everyone seems to know what they are talking about.
  10. Muzzle blast, low batteries, sunlight. All of these give me problems with my CED. They can just be weird sometimes. Try with another gun. I have them not work one day to work the next time I went out.
  11. I have a CED chrony. Updated to the infrared skyscreens which is awesome. Between them and the original sky screens You'll never be down a chrono due to lighting conditions. I also like the fact I can store and download numbers to my computer. A little expensive though I found it used years ago.
  12. I have an original. I still use it. What are you looking for? If its a sensor I'm pretty sure the new ones work on the older models. I think I had to replace one already.
  13. Buddy of mine nicked my chrono with a 45. He saw it move, commented on it, then proceeded to blast it 3 shots later. Needless to say he was a little embarrassed.
