I woun't of milled all the way thru, maybe come down on the slide a little more and left about .020 before going thru.. the gun is coming along and looks AWESOME, can't wait to see it done. She almost done @ my gunsmiths ... after that shes getting some custom engraving @ sureshotprecision.com and then the slide will get the hard chrome treatment @ techplate.com and the barrel will get TiN coated... Didnt even need to adjust the sight it was dead on already. The slide feels soo slow compared to my STI Edge ... But the gun shoots flat and straight... Very Happy with how she turned out... I ended up use a 5" Guide Rod and Reverse plug and a 9lbs Sprinco w/ a Dawson Aluma Buff... I like the top of the barrel......... that looks good. Just planning on a mixture of dark grey hard chrome and polished Hard chrome on the slide and the top of the barrel.
