Corey Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 I think I want to get a tablet. It will mainly be used for entertainment value when traveling (music, movies, games, surf the web). I'm looking at a few options including the Samsung Galaxy or Motorola Xoom. Maybe an Ipad, but I don't if the extra price is worth the feature gain (if there are any). Bill M Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 I use the Ipad II. I have a few books and a lot of pdf files I read in Ibooks. It is nice if you have manuals but don't want to take them on the road. Ryan626 Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 I got the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime for Christmas. It's comparable to the Motorola Xoom but at a greater value in my opinion. My wife has the Ipad. I went with a non-apple based tablet for the flash capabilities as some of the websites I visit requires it. If this does not bother you, pay a little more for the Ipad. Sure the flash deal is there but it really doesnt bother me. I have also gotten used to the sync routine as opposed to the memory card trick.
