What shell clips are you using?

Dean is using the injection molded CarbonArms SSL clips on these.

Nice! That's what it looked like but I could tell for sure on my phone.

Any chance of a quad version of this belt in some of that sweet lancer carbon fiber?

Hey Jesse......we are redoing our 12up and 16up beltline and a funny thing.....the belt and backer plate I'm using will fit the QUAD's perfect. I'll have the first one at CMMG.....and hope to go into production as soon as we get settled in our new facility in June.

I don't believe I said I was the first to do this or that I invented it. Real design credit should go to mark Otto who started making something like this a few years ago. And chameleons has had them out for a long time, and I am sur Carbon arms had the backbone built for more than eight months as well. I used Mark's and liked it but wanted something that was flexible. I built one for myself last year for rocky mtn and friends asked me to make some for them. Figured others would like them too. I guess when someone builds the perfect set if gear everyone else will stop trying to improve on what is out there. Until then I am content trying to make what myself and other shooters are using better.

Just got my load 2 vest from Dean!..... I'm bigger fella at 250lbs and it fit great... The flexibility of the vest makes it super comfortable.....I previously was using the carbon arms backbone and loading 2 off my belt, I was at a consistent 5.5-6.0 reload standing still.... My first attempt at using deans vest resulted in a 5.0 reload and after an hr of practice I was consistently doing 4.5 sec due to shells being closer to my loading port and minimizing arm movement to grab shells.... The other thing I really like about it is that the carbon arms holders that dean uses are individually mounted so that if one was to break u can replace just that holder!..... Thanks for the vest dean I'm super happy with it!

Likewise ... I'm using one of Dean's chest rigs & have been for a year, they're awesome. Actually just upgraded to the newer style so the gen 1 version will be up for sale in the classified area in the near future.

For those of us of lesser waist size, you can order the large Chameleon and take off the holders that end up under your elbows. I then screwed those on to a piece of lexan with some tek-loks so I can put it on the belt underneath the belly band if I need more rounds. Good piece of gear and cheapest per round.

Do not purchase from these jokers! I made a order on May 9th. They never sent me an email on my receipt and to this day they have not sent me an email on my tracking of shipment or a reply of my numerous email I have sent them! I had to make a claim through PayPal. Hope it gets resolved!!

It took me over a month to get my first chameleon belt. I ordered another not too long ago.

I built this chest rig to hold 16 shells in the 'load 2' configuration. I used it this past weekend at BGSL's 3 Gun Nation Club Series event and it was extremely sturdy, very comfortable, stays out of the way of your rifle and shotgun and is very easy to use. The shells come out when you want them to and stay put when you don't. I'm a complete 3 Gun novice - a total of two Club Series matches under my belt - but this rig made me much more competitive on the shotgun stages with a grand total of 5 minutes of practice.

I custom build these for shooters - made-to-order. Send me a message.

I took a 16up taccom and bought a cheapo battle belt then took the backers off and ran the individual 2ups through the molle. Used the belt from the 16 up through the battle belt.

It's my "holy cow this stage has a lot of reloads and the 24 on my belt won't cut it" setup. I wear in front lower chest/belly

I finally got my refund from PayPal. Still to this day they have not replied to my emails or messages on their website. Nor have they replied to PayPal with my claim, they had a whole month to contact PayPal upon my complaint. Terrible business!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

That's the same process I went through the first time. I thought I got ripped off but eventually the belt showed up. Then they sent me some replacement clips really fast because the originals were too tight. They also responded quickly to my questions this time about ordering just a belt. I will say that I placed the order fully thinking that I may never get my belt and may be wasting $50.

I got mine from chameleon a month back and it was at my door in 10 days. Very smooth and quick transaction in my opinion. I would not hesitate ordering again if I needed to although I understand some early transactions were not as smooth.

I did everything in my power to make things work through them. I figured since PayPal contacted them and try to find a resolution to the problem they wouldnt even answer them. So I say screw them they dont deserve my business. I called up Mark Otto and he sent me his belt the same day I called him. He also took my word on my sending my payment and sent me the belt before he had the check in his hand. Brave man.

Apparently they are still around but their communication stinks.
