I'd love to do that (PSA shootout) one day.......maybe.......if things line up......hopefully Revo looks good though....should handle steel really well, mine does!!!!! Sudden Death
Could a 6 shot 686 be reamed out to 40 and be safe? If so would it be legal in USPSA rev division? Now what was the question ?? I can't get your avitar out of my head..... :roflol:

Cd662
That looks like an awesome gun, Mr. Ortbach. I was in your squad at the S&W IDPA Indoor Nationals. Hope to see you again sometime.
SauconValley Shooter
Good Morning, Sam, I am very pleased with the way the gun turned out. Hopefully, I will see you at a future PSA, or when I get my butt down to the MCC. Chad, with that long barrel and minor loads for steel, the gun does shoot flat. I shoot a P14-45 Limited sometimes, so you are not alone. Cd662, we had a pretty good squad at S&W. I am shooting a lot of matches this year, (Steel Challenge, USPSA, IDPA, ICORE) so perhaps we will meet again.
SauconValley Shooter
Good Morning, This is kind of related to the thread. There is a 646 on Gun Broker right now that is up to $1600 with 1 1/2 days until the auction closes. I may have to put the original barrel back on this project gun! COF
Well, don't think I'm going to find another 646 so I've sent my order form off to Clements to have my 6" GP100 converted to 10/.40. Damn, I miss that
