Action Pistolero
It looks to me that this is just the beginning of the madness for the anniversary. I don't believe it is a mistake. There was another link on the page for a box set of two 1911's made by Browning. Looks like Browning is getting into the 1911 business also. The ad claims that the 45 is the first out of the Browning factory with a special serial number. The other 1911 appears to be a 22 also with a special serial number. Anyone want to take a guess at what those will go for?

sirveyr
I wonder how much Matt Cheely would charge to get that thing to run? It would look pretty sweet with a Techwell XP on it... Edited January 2, 2011 by sirveyr
Flexmoney
I wonder how much Matt Cheely would charge to get that thing to run? It would look pretty sweet with a Techwell XP on it... Steve J
http://www.gunbroker...?Item=206871796 Good Lord. I have some collectible safe queens, but seriously. I've lost interest in collectibles, but I'd pay up to $3000 for a shooter that's just exactly what I want.

I'd love to see that gun with some kydex holster wear, a magwell and a set of sights.

mertbl
While still not worth 82K, it does include travel and hotel to the Colt factory and museum for the party.
SiG Lady
"I'd sell any gun I have for a mere $81,000.00..." Heck, I'd sell ALL my guns for that amount, then buy some more. I think there's been a mistake in bidding. Or someone's smokin' the wrong stimulants... Gah!
