I read earlier in the thread that people had sent in their guns to be converted to ramped barrels. Why? What is the advantage of a ramped barrel?

Our local rulebook actually says loaded with 9 rounds before the start signal. -
I just dry sanded mine and then rubbed it down with some rem oil, maybe, I did it awhile ago.

I use ar comp for 55s and 75s. Pretty happy with it. Meters like a dream.

Shot a 3 gun match in the rain last sunday. It started raining about 1030 or so. It kept going all day. Plenty of dry overhangs and I had rain gear. Worst part was I forgot my hat so I had rain and fog on my glasses which made the pistol harder. -

Is that shell being held in place by the lifter or the shell catch? If it's the lifter could you get a picture with the shell being held by the catch?

Has anyone replaced their recoil spring with something lighter? I've got a 12.5 on hand but am afraid to drop it in with a full weight slide.

I don't know if you guys listen to the 3 gun show podcast but in the interview with Travis Gibson he mentions running 35 gr frangible bullets at 2400 fps for the pro series. I found it interesting. I'm also firmly in the camp of "if it doesn't say I can't, then I can"

I use the tac ultra in 9mm. Model 51679. It's a little rough around the edges. Safety is sharp, trigger is a bit heavy. I cleaned it up with a stone. Good shooter though. After my match sunday, I'm afraid the recoil spring has given up the ghost. New spring is cheap, disappointing that I have less than 1 k roundo through the gun.

I'm using the alg act trigger. I'm fairly certain the primers are properly seated. I'll dounless check before I go shooting again.

I just put a set of JP yellow springs in my rifle and have had a few primers fail to detonate when shot. These are the wolf 223 ar primers. Is there a recommended primer for these trigger springs. For what it's worth I've never had a failure with these primers and stock springs.

I use the brownells 3 gun bag. My M3000 with 12 round tube fits, barely.

Ran 3 or 4 tubes through the gun with live ammo. Couldn't reproduce it. Put dummies back in. Instant problem. Good to know it's an issue with the dummies and practicing too much. I was worried something was wearing out and I was gonna spend all season chasing a phantom.

Ok. I'll try it later. My dummies are getting old. Yes I'm cycling through the chamber to remove them.

So I just finished some quad loading practice and ran into an issue. I was loading 12 rounds into my tube. When I went to cycle the shells out of the gun I would run into a dead cartridge drop lever. I'd have to push the shells up into the magazine tube and then push the drop lever again and it would work. Seemed to only happen between the first 3 shells I was ejecting. Any ideas what's going on?

I didn't get slugs shot yesterday. So that'll probably be first on my list as well.

I don't think they are available yet. The m3000 was referred to as the m3k before stoeger announced that would be the name of their 3 gun ready version. Kinda confusing.

I also just set mine up with female on belt. I did it because I'm cheap and needed to set up 2 belts for sharing shotgun caddies.
