Virgil Tripp and Tripp Research

I was having a problem with six Cobra mags. I don’t want to go into the details of what the problem was. After exchanging some e-mails and a couple of phone calls, Virgil told me to send the mags to him and he would replace them. Technically, I don’t think Virgil had to do what he did, but he did. Great customer service.

If not for Virgil's patience, and knowledge, about magazines and the proper function in guns. I would have given up on making a .40 cal SS gun run. As long as Tripp makes magazines for SS guns I will never buy another manufacturers mags. I have 15-20 .40 cal mags, 7 10 mm, and 10 9mm mags. Also have 15 of his 10 round 1st Gen 40/10 mags. No issues with them in any manner. There were some ammo issues and those have been worked out. Could not be more pleased. I am convienced that Virgils mags, helped me win High Senior at the SSC/Nationals last year.

Did they ever start hard chroming again? In my opinion, they did the nicest work compared to Ford's, Metalife, and AP Cogan.

i'm still mourning they day virgil stopped accepting hard chroming work. he did a trio of P7's for me that were just truly beautiful and what a pleasure to deal with!
