Need Holster for Browning .22 Buckmark

Recommended Posts

After two months of looking, my wife & I bought a Browning

Buckmark .22 so she could enjoy IPSC matches, and so I

could practice some of my IPSC shooting for less money.

Now, I need some recommendations for a decent holster for

the gun (has a 5" barrel).

Looking for a light, fast holster so the draws are quick -

don't want one with a safety strap on it - cut down in the

front like an IPSC holster, but covers the trigger guard.

Anyone find one that works well.

Also, could use some mag holders that are cut down and

quick, as well.

Thanks, Jack

Hello: Sean at PowercustomUSA sells a holster that should fit the bill  It is Kydex and should be faster than a leather slide holster. Hope this helps

+1 Those are good holsters. Another company manufactures kydex holsters for the buckmark camper, called JS Holsters. not sure which buckmark you have but you may want to try them out: http://www.jsholsters.com/ Haven't tried one myself but they're a kydex paddle and look solid.

I use a Hogue powerspeed. The one with the magnets. It holds my 5 inch flat bull Buckmark perfectly.

I have won many matches with it so its fast enough.

Thanks, I hadn't heard about Power Custom.

Just placed an order with them for a holster,

mag & mag holder.

Really great advice - thanks.

Jack let me know how the holster works for you? I may order one at some point so it would be nice to have a review.

It's a custom order, so I'm still waiting for the

holster. They said it should be here next week,

and I'll write up a review on it then. Can't wait

to see it - I didn't really think it would be possible

to find a "fast - IPSC style" holster for a BuckMark,

so I'm hoping it lives up to expectations.

Which holster at Power Custom fits the Buckmark? I couldn't figure it out from the web site.

If you look under holsters, they list about a dozen, and the BuckMark holster is

one of the last ones on the right hand side. Only $40 or so.

I'm looking for one of these too, how did it work out for you? Do you think it would work with a Buckmark with the micro barrel?

Thanks

Thanks

Anyone ever get one of these holsters? Talked to the guy at Power Custom and he didn't recommend it for a Browning Contour with a C-More railway. Still searching for a Kydex holster for the Contour.

It's funny that you posted this today; I had not thought about this for weeks until this morning. Raven Concealment makes custom holsters & I was thinking this morning about contacting them to make one. I'll let you know what I find out.

Hello: You may want to check with Tactical Solutions since they make one for the Ruger 22. You could also use a belt slide for a 1911 as well. I have used a leather one for a while. The Ruger rimfire matches don't allow holsters, you must bag the pistol after shooting. Thanks, Eric

I'll check with Tactical Solutions. Actually this holster is for a friend; he's driving me crazy to help him find one. I have an Uncle Mikes that I unstitched, cut down for the c-more, and had a shoe repair shop re-stitch and I am good to go. Contacted Ron Garrett at www.gimagclip.com/ and think he is willing to custom make one. Gonna make my friend do the rest of the leg work but will report back here on the progress.
